Pre-Course Requirements

To ensure you are fully prepared for the ALS2 course, the following pre-course steps are mandatory:

1. Pre-Course eLearning: Complete the mandatory eLearning module prior to attending the face-to-face day. Access to the mandatory eLearning will be provided directly by Resuscitation Australia 14 days prior to your course, to ensure currency and optimal memory retention.
2. ECG Interpretation: A foundational understanding of ECG rhythms in emergency settings is essential.
3. Defibrillation Skills: The course focuses exclusively on manual defibrillation techniques.
4. Important: If you arrive at the course without completing the eLearning, you will not be allowed to join the course.

• No Cancellations Within 31 Days: We do not accept cancellations for any reason within 31 days of the course commencement.
• Change of Booking or Refunds: We cannot modify bookings or offer refunds within the 31-day period.
• Notice for Cancellations: A minimum of 31 days' notice is required. Please notify us in writing by 3:00 PM EST at booking@parasol.edu.au at least 31 days before your scheduled course.
• Administration Fee: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course incur a $200 administration charge.
• Waiting List Transfers: In some cases, we may have individuals on a waiting list. If applicable, we can offer a transfer to a future course in your area without charging the administration fee.
• Rationale: This policy ensures fairness to our business and to clients who might otherwise miss out on course availability due to late cancellations.
